Thematically , The Bearseason 3 is all about painful sensation . Carmy ’s reflexion on his past trauma throughout the premiere episode are punctuated by a recur image of Carmy stroking a nasty scar on the ribbon of his handwriting . This scratch perfectly typify the pain that Carmy had previously tried to take to the woods from and is now trying to confront and sweep over .
