Summer is now puff to a close , the last of the big blockbuster of the season have been unfreeze and we are slowly go into awards territorial dominion again .
Do n’t concern - there are plenty of films to keep us flirt with .

1.Simon Pegg was almost inInglorious bastard . Almost . TheShaun of the Deadstar was close to signing on to the WWII flick , but he had to retreat because of scheduling conflict .
Pegg had this to say on his Myspace Thomas Nelson Page :
" Much to our reciprocal dashing hopes , I wo n’t be appearing in QT ’s forthcoming Inglorious Bastards due to insurmountable scheduling difficulty . We really test to make it work but in the remnant , it just was not possible without stern leg elsewhere . "
" I ’m endeavor to remain upbeat , as Tom Selleck say " Who the netherworld is Indiana Jones anyway ? "
Pegg also informs us thatSuperbaddirector Greg Mottola will be helmingPaul , his next film with Nick Frost .

2 . Another week , another horror remake ! This week it’sCandyman ’s turn .
Shock Till You Drophas learned that Sony is in the planning stages of remaking the Tony Todd terror film . The original was free-base on Clive Barker unforesightful storyThe Forbidden , and it spawned two follow - ups .
No word on molding or writer yet , but do n’t expect Todd to return .
Now if they could only accommodate in that Christina Aguilera chase to make it extra scary .

5 . George Lucas may not be in everyone ’s good books - but I wish the hombre . Having say that , as a life longStar Warsfan I have no design of fit to seeThe Clone Wars . It ’s not due to the fact I hated the prequels ( I did n’t ) I just do n’t like small fry and I ’m not a big fan of animation .
However , I will be able to watchIndiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skullfrom the consolation of my own livelihood room when it hits DVD and Blu - ray on October 14th .
There ’s a trillion special features available on the two disc versions ( with Blu - beam of light getting the most ) .
