The narrative soon reveals that Wolf is also a lost disembodied spirit . The plot ’s goal is to accompany both suffer souls to the City of Light while uncovering pasts that they have both forgotten . But Wolf has a unique skill that create her journey peculiar : she can possess other fauna , allowing her to cross the landscape painting in way that her savage hand can not . As a bird , she can fly . As a Pisces , Wolf can swim . As a wombat , she can go through belittled tunnels . The possibilities are endless .

This is the beauty ofLost Ember . Being capable to possess other creatures with various abilities allows her to cross a beautiful world and unwrap it for herself . Although it ’s possible to play the game straight through without any distractions , histrion will find themselves wanting to dart around as a hummingbird or float around as a fish just to see the world through unexampled centre . The world itself is vivacious and colorful , full of enshroud items that are unimportant to gameplay , but still fun to find . As Wolf locomote from memory to computer memory , it ’s easy to get sidetrack by all there is to see . However , in the main story , Wolf ’s recollection eventually expose a bittersweet past filled with red and fierceness . Although the story is short , it is easy to connect with and happen emotionally fulfil .
What ’s most interesting aboutLost Emberthough is that there are no foe , no hirer , and no threats of any form . Thegameplayis only about uncovering retentivity to facilitate Wolf and the lost disembodied spirit remember what they ’ve bury .
