Excision , Destiny 2 : The Final Shape ’s last mission was release after the first clear of the Salvation ’s Edge maraud . Now that Salvation ’s Edge has been formally make , you canlaunch Excision from the Pale Heart placement map . curlicue to the right and select the mission to found it . This is a matchmade action for up to 12 Guardians to take on , andit is also the enfranchisement ’s only 12 - player co - op activity . It starts out with a cutscene of Zavala rallying mankind and its friend , and then the fight begins .

Beat The Final Mission
Your first task in the Excision foreign mission is to approach the Witness . Before taking on the Witness , you ’ll have to fight through the first blood of its defense , maybe using yourbrand - new Khvostov rifle inDestiny 2 . When you dilute in , you ’ll need todefeat all the foeman in the area to move forward .
In special , watch out for chicken - bar boss enemies defending seizure zona . Defeat these bosses , thencapture each zone that appearsuntil the darkness shield go down .
Once the shield is down , you ’ll enter a diminished arena where the Witness waits . Here , you ’ll ask tointeract with rifts of Lightin various places . After get out from the luminosity , lead back to the small resonant bank , where you could dunk the Light . Between yourself and the other Guardians in the Activity , you ’ll need todo this 15 times . After the last one , you shouldinteract with the veiled statue next to the bankto " Commune With the Darkness . "

Next , you ’ll be transported back to where you broke the statues withDestiny 2 ’s Ergo Sumin the " Ionoclasm " missionary work . You ’ll be gifted a blade from the Traveler , which you should use tobreak as many statues as possible . After you break as many statues as it ’ll allow you to , you ’ll be teleported back to the arena for DPS .

All that ’s left is the lauded DPS stage . This is a precision boss , think you ’ll want something withgood ammo thriftiness and a longsighted - stove potentiality . If you ’ve got estimable missile aim , you could habituate aBait and Switch Apex Predator , but if you either do n’t have one or do n’t like skyrocket , Still Hunt is even upright . While you ’re whaling on the Witness ' crit spot , keep an eye out for its resonance attacks .
