While sometimes visually stunning, this movie suffers tremendously from a weak script. In most aspects,Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragonis a better movie.
One of the first things that struck me about this photographic film after it ended was how like it was toCrouching Tiger , Hidden Dragon . Lots of martial artistry conflict , at least one of which is fought in the trees ? Yep . A man and a woman formulate an intense honey for each other that ’s fraught with obstacles ? Yep . ActressZiyi Zhangeven starred in both films . After all the comparison are done , though , Crouching Tigerstill comes out the winner .
One thing that really separatesHouse of Flying DaggersfromCrouching Tigeris how many plot of ground turn it has . Some of them you’re able to see coming from a land mile away , while others are so laughable that you do n’t really know what to make of them . For the most part , the quality of the moving picture is playful and cozy , almost like a stage play . That glide slope did n’t work , at least not for me . Neither actor gave me the impression that he had really immerse himself in the character reference he was playact .

Should he go after a relationship with Mei ? What will pass if Mei finds out he knead for the governing ?

Suffice it to say that there are probably a dozen different turn to the patch . Some of them are really surprising , while others make no sense at all . Overall , the picture is visually telling , but the storyline is either confusing or nonexistent throughout the picture . Most of the pic reminded me ofCrouching Tiger , Hidden Dragon . I wo n’t go so far as to say that this is a ripoff of that moving-picture show , but I would have to say thatCrouching Tigeris a better movie .
