Meanwhile , at other times , Hobbs & Shawcomes across as the best live - actionG.I. As a whole , though , it ’s just too much of a corporate product that seek to give fans more of what it thinks they need ( whether it ’s Johnson but playing himself or smack - talking Statham silly ) , but to belittled returns .
