The story is interesting and there are chip of lore scattered around the science laboratory that order the history of Dr. Brewer and his daughter . While Brewer comes off as the good guy , it is reveal by and by that he has turned himself and his girl into humanoid plants , and the toxicant sprayed on Twist is meant to do the same . This part of the game has Twist go on several fetch quest and completing puzzles but none are challenging to solve . The atmosphere and story are the strong here but it ’s the shortest dower of the game .
After defeating Brewer and curing Twist ’s illness , the role player follows Slappy to another part of the house which house a jumbo Tesla coil . For reasons that are never explained , Twist is introduced to the discorporate voice of Nicola Tesla who think that Slappy is a undercover agent sent by his rival , Thomas Edison . Twist is then given a laser gun and is asked to block off Slappy while traversing the Tesla whorl and killing living viscous bears . Once at the top of the coil , a battle ensures between Twist and Slappy that is deadening and command the histrion to do little at all . Once Slappy is defeated the credits start to tramp and none of the interesting plot of land points are break up .
Goosebumps Dead of Nighthas an interesting story with somememorable momentsthat are squandered by how unpolished the final product is . While it is a port of a mobile biz , it looks and plays like an unfinished original Xbox claim . In some cases , the story and environments outshine the gameplay issues , but the game as a whole is a mechanical mess .
