Lee and his camera operator Dion Beebe ( Edge of Tomorrow ) shoot the spectacle in a clean style , but the HFR picture taking ( Gemini Manwas shot digitally at 120 frame per second ) make up it harder for them to disguise their movie making tricks and accidentally calls attention to the moment where Smith has been replaced with a CGI double .
